Working Women Report, 2017

The purpose of this research, which YADA conducted in 2017, was to determine the differentiation of perceptions about working women, to understand the social dynamics of different perceptions, and to identify the basic discourses behind the perception of women working in society and the prevalence of these perceptions. This study was carried out throughout Turkey, it aimed to analyze the reputation of working women. For this purpose, it focused on the following topics:

• Socio-demographic information and work experiences
• Daily life practices and worldviews
• “Reputable” jobs and sectors, and the reasons why these jobs and sectors are considered reputable
• “Women’s business” perception
• Reputation of the working woman
• Working woman’s reputation scale
